Tough Luck
DEFINITION: A way of expressing bad luck; sometimes used sarcastically/without sympathy (i.e., "too bad").

EXAMPLE: Oh, you don't think it's fair to be grounded after you broke curfew? Tough luck!
"I just wanted to let you know I got my grade back on my essay and I received a 99! Thank you so much again for your help! I was astounded when I received my final grade back! I had to let you know how well I did!"
