Damned if you do, damned if you don't
DEFINITION: A way of expressing that either choice you make will result in poor consequences.

EXAMPLE: On the one hand, if I join the military, my college education would be free, but I would have to risk my life. On the other hand, the debt from my college education will take decades to pay! I just seem damned if I do or damned if I don't!
