Black Sheep

DEFINITION: We say that someone is a "black sheep" if they are engaged in some sort of illegal or ethically questionable behavior. Usually this phrase is used in the context of family relationships.

EXAMPLE: We had thought of Larry as the black sheep of the family for decades, so we were surprised to see how much he had changed at the family reunion.
