All or Nothing
DEFINITION: A situation in which compromise is not possible and a choice must be made between two alternatives.

EXAMPLE: As he walked up to the podium, Mike realized it was all or nothing. If he didn't come across well in this debate, he would have no chance at winning the election.
"[One of your editors] has become my new favorite person. I don't know how to express how much she has helped me with school!"
