Pick on Someone Your Own Size
DEFINITION: This idiom is used in situations when a fight, argument, competition, or other encounter is unbalanced or unfair.
EXAMPLE: Doug keeps mocking the junior sales team for their performance, but, as VP of Sales, he should really pick on someone his own size. |
"I was so impressed with the complimentary review that was completed by [one of your editors] that my son and I have decided to use your services to check his fall term papers. In addition, I plan to recommend your company to other students - I am a college administrator and have lots of student contact. Thanks again for your help. "
