About Polish My Paper

Polish My Paper is a developing network of independent contractors who have each passed a rigorous review process to join our ranks.  Because Polish My Paper stands by the quality of our work, our "polishers" usually meet at least one (but often more) of the following criteria:

          *  An M.A. or Ph.D. in English, communications, or a related field.
          *  College-level English-teaching experience.
          *  Equivalent work experience as an editor.
          *  Experience teaching English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL).
          *  Experience with medical or other scientific terminology.

Additionally, our contractors must pass a challenging test on basic, intermediate, and advanced English-language skills as well as complete an extensive training process.  We also have regular quality reviews to make sure our clients receive the top-notch service that they have come to expect.

PHILOSOPHY

As educators, we want to help you improve - not just correct your mistakes. Polish My Paper seeks to fill the gap between paper-writing services, which take responsibility away from the writer, and proofreading/editing services, which do not teach the writer how to avoid similar errors in the future.  We value education, and, for this reason, documents are returned with links to our online Common Errors Guide, which helps our clients improve their writing skills.   This guide is available to you whether or not you use our service.

We respect your ideas and will not modify them.  We may, however, challenge your presentation and ask for clarification on areas that seem confusing.  When we "polish" we suggest alternative phrasings of sentences, orders for idea progression, and word choices that we believe will enhance or "polish" the document.  We also catch grammatical and other errors.
